How do I reset my password on the submission site?
How do I submit my work on the submission site?
I can’t log into Submittable. What do I do?
Your Submittable credentials are separate from your GMS membership username and password. We are unable to help with submittable login issues. Contact Submittable Support at support@submittable.com if you are having trouble logging in or resetting your password. The reset email can take up to 48 hours to appear and often goes to spam, so don’t delay signing in and starting your submission! If you are unable to retrieve your password in time for the deadline, we recommend creating a new submittable account under a new email.
Does it matter which browser I use for Submittable?
The Submittable platform is optimized for GOOGLE CHROME and FIREFOX browsers. Often error messages can be attributed to the browser the applicant is using.
What is the deadline for 2026 GMS Awards submissions?
The regular deadline for GMS Awards submission forms is November 15, 2025 with a final late deadline of November 26, 2025. The required audiovisual screening materials may be submitted prior to completion of the submission form, provided the titles are identically listed on both the submission form and the screener upload, but must be received by no later than 11:59pm PST on December 5, 2025 for the submission to be considered.
Do you grant extensions on entries?
No, we do not grant extensions beyond the late deadlines for submission forms and audiovisual screening materials. If you have questions about deadlines, please contact admin@guildofmusicsupervisors.com.

NOMINATIONS & VOTING
What is the GMS Awards nomination process?
The Guild of Music Supervisors utilizes anonymous Craft Committees comprised of highly experienced professionals, of varying backgrounds and perspectives, actively working in the synch and supervision communities. These committees are committed to the fair and thorough review of each GMS Awards submission. Over the course of the GMS Awards review period, they spend countless hours reading the detailed submission forms, viewing screening materials, and engaging with the submitted content. During this review period, committees meet regularly to discuss and deliberate on submissions using their expertise and the GMS Awards Evaluation Rubric to collectively determine the final nominees in each category.

Once the nominees are selected, who votes to determine the GMS Awards winners?
Guild of Music Supervisors Members are the official voting body that determines the winners for the GMS Awards. Voting takes place online through a secure third-party website with only one ballot counted per individual voter. All ballots are confidential and tabulated by Big Pulse Voting Systems. To join the Guild of Music Supervisors please visit www.guildofmusicsupervisors.com/join
What happens if I haven’t watched all of the nominated titles? Can I still vote in the categories?
The Guild of Music Supervisors strongly encourages voting members to see as many of the nominated titles as possible. We have partnered with Vision Media to bring our members a secure and accessible GMS Awards Screening Portal to view the nominees. With our secure third-party voting website, you have the ability to abstain from voting in any category where you have not viewed all of the nominated titles. Your ballot will still be valid even if you do not vote in every available category.
